Terracotta Dreams
Art by Lana Elanor | Words by Oindrila Gupta

The road bends gently,
painted in shades of rose and ochre,
Terracotta roofs glow in the sun.

Here, time is not hurried.
It lingers in the sway of tall pines,
in the hush of gardens spilling
colour onto the streets,
in the sound of footsteps
echoing against stone.

This is not escape,
but a return to a slower rhythm,
to the simple abundance
of open air,
of doors left ajar,
of mornings that belong
to themselves.

The country does not demand.
It simply offers,
And asks us only to notice.

Life moves fast. Deadlines, meetings, stress has a way of following us everywhere. In India, nearly 15% of adults need active mental health support.

Hunger only makes it harder to cope, chipping away at focus, energy, and the quiet strength to care for ourselves.

This piece is a gentle reminder to rest & reclaim small moments of calm. Each canvas you bring home sponsors 10 meals, nourishing both the body and the mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes The Plated Project's jigsaw puzzles different?

Our jigsaw puzzles feature original artwork by independent artists. They're designed to become wall art after you finish putting the pieces together, so the puzzle is both a creative activity and art you can keep.

What sizes and piece counts are available?

Our frameable puzzles include circular 300-piece puzzles (approximately 38.1 cm in diameter), A3 200-piece puzzles (29.7 × 42 cm), and smaller formats including A4 and 48-piece designs. Check the specific product page for the correct size and piece count.

Can I turn my completed jigsaw puzzle into wall art?

Yes. Choose the framed variant to get a compatible frame with an acrylic cover and wall hook. After completing your jigsaw puzzle, display the finished artwork on your wall. An unframed option is also available on relevant products.

Do I need glue to frame my jigsaw puzzle?

No glue is needed when using the compatible puzzle frame. Complete your jigsaw puzzle and secure it with the supplied acrylic cover in the frame.

What are your jigsaw puzzles made from?

Our frameable jigsaw puzzles are made from precision-cut woodboard, designed to support detailed printed artwork and pieces that fit together.

Are your jigsaw puzzles suitable for adults or children?

Our 200-piece A3 and 300-piece circular jigsaw puzzles are suited to adults and older puzzle enthusiasts. We also offer smaller-piece-count designs for children. Check the individual puzzle's product details and age guidance before purchasing.

Are jigsaw puzzles good gifts?

Yes. They make creative gifts for art lovers and puzzle enthusiasts, combining a hands-on activity with artwork that can be framed afterwards. Relevant products offer an optional frame for gifting.

Do you deliver jigsaw puzzles across India?

The Plated Project ships jigsaw puzzles across India. Available delivery options and estimates depend on the destination and are shown during checkout.

How should I care for my completed puzzle?

Keep your completed puzzle dry and gently dust with a soft cloth. If framed, wipe the acrylic cover carefully and avoid exposing it to moisture.
