Pulse of the Butterfly

She lay down against the barren, yellowed ground & immersed herself into the depths of nature.

As she sank further in, she felt a gentle nudge. It was Mother Nature caressing her deepest impulses, her instinctive urge to build a sanctuary where the birds could paint the sky blue, the sun could paint the leaves yellow, the flowers could paint the soul pink.

As she gave into the wilderness, she felt her skin turning an earthy red, in tune with the colours of creation. Delicate vines entwined themselves through her arms, and every flower she yearned for, magically bloomed around her. She realised the power of her dreams, her resolve, her choices.

She smiled as she felt the singular pulse of her own beating heart, a call of transformation. Her soul morphed into a bright, yellow butterfly & persevered through her cocooned heart to rise above. She watched, content, one with Nature, as the butterfly began its journey, pollinating, flowing from one flower to the next.
